Your queue, slots and draft dates
How many requests are in design at once, how the queue works, and Make room.
Your plan sets how many requests are in design at once: one on Essentials, two on Studio, three on Studio Plus. Everything else waits in your queue on Requests, in the order you choose. Drag to reorder.
When we send you a proof, that slot goes to the next request, so nothing sits idle while you look. When a queued request gets a slot, you get a note that it has started.
Draft dates
When a request starts, your designer gives a first-draft date, shown on the request. It's a plan, not a guarantee. If it moves (for example because you reordered the queue), the request tells you why.
Your changes come first
Changes you send within a week of a proof go ahead of new work. If they're waiting for a slot, an owner or admin can use Make room: pause one request that's in design so the changes go first. The paused request goes back to the front of the queue. It's always your choice, never automatic.
Website care
Website care has its own lane and never holds a slot. Each site can have one care request open.
The full rules are in How requests work.
