DRAFT — NOT YET IN FORCE. Voluntary statement. While Grafkit sells only to businesses and is a microenterprise, the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, S.I. 636/2023) is unlikely to apply. Have a solicitor confirm that. Make no conformance claim until an audit has been done.
We want everyone who uses Grafkit, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to read our websites and use the app.
What we aim for
We design and build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA: enough colour contrast, text that resizes, full keyboard use, visible focus, labelled form fields, alternative text for meaningful images, and respect for your system's reduced-motion and light or dark mode settings.
Where we are
We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance. Known limits:
- Some file previews (for example PDFs and images supplied by clients) may not have text alternatives.
- Stripe's checkout pages are run by Stripe; see Stripe's own accessibility information.
We test with keyboard-only navigation and a screen reader as part of our releases, and we fix what we find.
Design work we deliver
Accessible design is part of good design. Ask, and we will design to WCAG 2.2 AA contrast and structure for your Request. If you need accessible PDFs or documents, say so in the brief.
Tell us about a problem
If something on our sites or in the app is hard to use, email [email protected] with the page and what happened. We will reply within 5 Business Days and, where we can, give you the information another way in the meantime.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the National Disability Authority (nda.ie) for guidance.
