Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

DRAFT — NOT YET IN FORCE. Prepared for David Curtin's review. A practising Irish solicitor must review it before Grafkit relies on it or publishes it.

This policy forms part of the Grafkit Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Grafkit: account owners, team members and guests.

1. Work we will not do

1.1 We will not create, and you must not ask for, design work that:

(a) is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates unlawful activity;

(b) infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, design right, privacy or publicity rights, including copying or closely imitating another business's brand, logo, packaging or get-up;

(c) is defamatory, harassing, threatening or hateful, or incites violence or discrimination against people based on a protected characteristic;

(d) is sexually explicit or pornographic, or sexualises anyone under 18;

(e) is false or misleading advertising, including fake reviews, fake endorsements, or health, financial or environmental claims you cannot substantiate;

(f) impersonates a real person or organisation, or is designed for phishing, fraud or scams;

(g) is political campaign or election material;

(h) promotes weapons, illegal drugs, gambling to vulnerable people, or tobacco or vaping to minors; or

(i) creates deceptive "deepfake" imagery of real people without their consent.

1.2 We may decline any Request we reasonably believe falls within clause 1.1, or that we find offensive or inconsistent with our values, and it will not count as a delivered Request.

2. Using the app

You must not:

2.1 share sign-in links or let people outside your organisation use your seats, other than guests you invite through the app;

2.2 try to access other clients' data, probe or test the app's security, or get round access controls or usage limits except under a responsible-disclosure arrangement agreed with us;

2.3 upload malware, or files you know to be infected or harmful;

2.4 overload the app or use bots, scrapers or automated scripts against it, except features we provide for that purpose;

2.5 copy, reverse-engineer or resell the app or our templates and methods;

2.6 use the AI helpers to generate unlawful, harmful or infringing content, to try to extract their instructions, or in breach of the AI provider's usage policies;

2.7 upload special category personal data (health, religion, ethnicity and so on), or data about children, unless we have agreed in advance how it will be handled; or

2.8 upload material you do not have the right to share with us.

3. Treatment of our team

Our designers are people. We do not accept abusive, threatening or harassing behaviour towards them in comments, emails or calls. Repeated abuse is a material breach of the Terms.

4. What happens if this policy is broken

We may remove content, decline a Request, suspend users or the account, or end the agreement under the Terms. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. We may report unlawful content to the authorities.

5. Reporting

To report misuse or a security issue, email [email protected].
